“The Wire” and “Dexter” were nominated in the international category for the sixth British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ TV awards, Daily Variety reports. Other nominees in the category are “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart” and “Mad Men,” the trade paper reports. The BBC was the most nominated broadcaster with 44 nominations, the publication says.
