The FCC is moving forward with plans that would bring broadband Internet access across the country, the Associated Press reports. The government agency is soliciting requests from the public and the industry in order to present a plan by next February, the news service says. The national broadband expansion was part of President Obama’s economic stimulus package passed earlier this year, the AP notes.
