Melora Hardin, who plays Jan on “The Office,” has been tapped for the female lead role in FX’s drama pilot “Lights Out,” the Hollywood Reporter says. She’ll play the wife of an aging former heavyweight boxer who learns he has pugilistic dementia, the trade paper says. Hardin won’t appear on “The Office” for the rest of the current season, although she will guest star in at least one episode next season, the Reporter says.
