Showtime, whose executives are screening pilots in New York, is considering “Ronna & Beverly” and the Tim Robbins-produced drama “Possible Side Effects” as top contenders for new series, Daily Variety reports. The pay-cable network has passed on “End of Steve,” produced by and starring Matthew Perry, and the “L Word” spinoff “The Farm,” the trade paper says. Showtime officials didn’t comment.
