Animal Planet’s reality series about killer fish, “River Monsters,” become the most-watched show in the network’s history with 1.4 million viewers, Multichannel News reports. The show’s average of 1.4 million viewers over its eight episodes was higher than the 1 million viewers who tuned in for “Whale Wars” earlier this year, the trade paper adds. A second season of “River Monsters” is starting production this summer for an expected 2010 debut, Multichannel says.
