GE Calls Report by O’Reilly That Company is Being Investigated For Having Supplied Terrorists With Bomb-Making Parts ‘Maliciously False’

General Electric Co., parent of MSNBC, for the first time responded to a report by Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly, calling a report, pegged to sources, that the company is possibly being investigated for having supplied terrorists with bomb-making components “irresponsible and maliciously false,” the Associated Press says.

A GE spokesman said he believes the report is tied to the ratcheting up of an on-air feud between O’Reilly and MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann, after a few weeks of relatively little verbal sniping.
