TLC Reality Series Looks Behind Scenes of Beauty Pageant Business 

TLC, home of the Miss America Pageant for the last two years, ordered 12 episodes of “King of the Crown,” a reality series focused on beauty pageant coach Cy Frakes and his business, called Gowns and Crowns, says Variety.

The Wednesday night series begins Sept. 30. The network also airs “Toddlers and Tiaras,” about pageants for the much-younger set.
