Cablevision Proposes That it Be the WiFi Provider for Commuters on Metro North and the Long Island Rail Road

Cable operator Cablevision, which has a huge base in Long Island and other areas in New York and Connecticut , has made a proposal to be the wireless internet provider for commuter trains and stations in and out of Manhattan, Multichannel News reports. 

Specifically, Cablevision wants to be the provider for Metro North and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), the report says.
