On the heels of Disney’s $4 billion acquisition of Marvel Entertainment, Warner Bros. said it also will get more aggressive in the comic arena, revamping its DC Comics into a new in-house company, DC Entertainment, the New York Times reports.

DC Comics’ characters include Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, and Warner wants to see more of them in TV, film and other media. The new company will be headed by Diane Nelson, whose Warner duties have included shepherding the Harry Potter franchise.
