ESPN has set up what it calls “a real-world testing ground" for 3D television at its Orlando Innovation Lab, Multichannel News reports.

The network plans to introduce a 3D service this summer starting with the World Cup.

The network is inviting tech companies to experiment with the format at the Orlando facility, Multichannel said.
