John McEnroe has renewed his agreement with the Tennis Channel to serve as its lead analyst for its French Open coverage, reports Multichannel News. 

McEnroe will also contribute to the primetime program "French Open Tonight," which is hosted by Bill Macatee. Under the new contract, McEnroe will provide analysis for the event through 2013, and will work with fellow tennis great and analyst Martina Navratilova.

The contract comes just days before the clay-court tournament is set to begin on May 23.
