Dennis Hopper, Actor, Art Collector, Loses His Battle Against Prostate Cancer

Dennis Hopper, one of the stars of "Crash" on Starz, has died after losing his battle against prostate cancer, He was 74 and passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010.

Hopper was primarily known as a movie actor, though he’s also been praised for some of his TV work, most notably on "Crash," and as the major villian on the first season ot "24."

Hopper was also a major art collector. Though best known for acting in, producing and directing the monster hit "Easy Rider," a number of critics said his best role was in David Lynch’s "Bluye Velvet."
