In First Push into Scripted Shows, CMT Picks up ‘Working Class’ in a 12-Episode Order

Marking its first push into original scripted shows, CMT has placed a 12-episode order for "Working Class," reports Deadline.com.

"Working Class" was one of four comedy pilots greenlit by CMT earlier this year, and the fates of the other three — "The Hard Life", "The 30 Percent" and an untitled project from David Litt — aren’t clear, the story says.

"Working Class" stars Melissa Peterman of "Reba" as a working single mom who moves into neighborhood she can hardly afford because she wants to give her kids a better life, the article says.
