"Bones" creator and executive producer Hart Hanson has a drama series in development at ABC. Deadline.com reports that the project, "The Good Thief’s Guide," has landed a script commitment with significant penalty.

Based on the book by Chris Ewan, the project tracks Charlie Howard as he blogs about his adventures across the world and steals to keep himself afloat.

Hanson and Andrew Miller are executive producing, with the project produced by 20th Century Fox TV, where Hanson is under an overall deal, the story says. Hanson currently has another book adaptation, "Backstrom," in contention at CBS.
