Stars of TV’s Highest-Rated Sitcom Angling for Raises — Reportedly Looking to More Than Triple Their Current Pay

The stars of broadcast television’s top-rated comedy are maneuvering to pump up their paychecks. The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed reports that "The Big Bang Theory’s" Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco are all looking for big raises for their work on the CBS hit.

Their negotiations come after co-stars Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch signed new deals with Warner Bros. Television, getting raises and long-term commitments, the story notes.

"Sources tell THR that Emmy winner Parsons (Sheldon), Galecki (Leonard) and Cuoco (Penny) will negotiate together — as they did in 2010 — and are looking for a considerable bump in pay from their current deal," the story reports. "According to a TV Guide Magazine report, the trio currently earns $325,000 per episode and may seek up to $1 million an episode."

Actors Simon Helberg (Howard) and Kunal Nayyar (Raj) are also said to be renegotiating together, and are also seeking higher pay, the story says.

Warner Bros. TV declined to comment, the piece adds.

  1. Too bad they didn’t learn from “Friends”, put aside their egos and negotiate all 7 together and at equal salaries

  2. Very hard to feel for these people when the average joe’s of the world are getting their hours cut to avoid employers’ paying for their healthcare. Eventually God will straighten it all out!
