‘Sisterland’ in Development at ABC

A project based on the popular novel "Sisterland," written by Curtis Sittenfeld, is in development at ABC, with Fake Empire’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage working on the adaptation, reports Deadline.com.

Rina Mimoun, who worked with Savage and Schwartz at The WB/CW, is writing the adaptation and will executive produce with the pair, along with Fake Empire President of Television Len Goldstein.

The novel is about identical twin sisters with paranormal abilities. The project is the fourth sale for Fake Empire in its first development season at ABC Studios, the piece notes.
