The final season of HBO’s “True Blood” is set to take over the time slot currently held by the fantasy drama “Game of Thrones." Deadline.com reports that the vampire drama will premiere June 22 in the 9 p.m. Sunday time slot.

The network has also booked “The Leftovers,” a drama series from “Lost” co-creator Damon Lindelof and writer Tom Perrotta, to debut June 15 at 10 p.m., with the premiere airing in the time slot following the season finale of “Game of Thrones.”

“The Leftovers,” based on Perrotta’s novel, is about what happens when the Rapture happens, but focuses on the people who were left behind in a suburban community. It stars Christopher Eccleston, known for his role as the ninth Doctor Who, and Justin Theroux.
