ABC and CBS each had something to crow about despite a slow Sunday prime time overall for the broadcast networks. TVbytheNumbers.com reports that ABC won the key 18-49 demo while CBS won total viewers, based on Nielsen overnights.

Fox, meanwhile, had the highest-rated show on broadcast prime in the 18-49 demo, with "Family Guy" delivering a 2.2 average rating, up one-tenth from a week ago. Fox's Sunday lineup was mostly up, with "American Dad" rising one-tenth to a 1.3, "The Simpsons" adding three-tenths to deliver a 1.9 and "Cosmos" climbing two-tenths to a 1.6. "Bob's Burgers" held steady with a 1.1.

ABC got the demo win largely on the strength of "Once Upon a Time" and "Resurrection," with both shows pulling 2.0 averages in 18-49. "Once Upon a Time" was off two-tenths from last week, while "Resurrection's" season finale improved one-tenth from its series low a week earlier.

ABC's "Revenge" matched its 1.3 average in adults 18-49 from last week, and "America's Funniest Home Videos" also held steady, with a 1.6.

CBS could do no better than third place overall in the 18-49 demo, behind ABC and Fox, but easily won total viewers thanks to a large turnout of older viewers for "60 Minutes" (10.32 million total viewers, 1.0 average rating in 18-49), "The Good Wife" (9.09 million total viewers, 1.2 in 18-49), "The Mentalist" (8.52 million total viewers, 1.2 in 18-49) and "The Amazing Race: All-Stars" (8.05 million total viewers, 1.7 in 18-49).

The CBS shows were mostly down in the 18-49 demo. "The Mentalist" matched its series low from a week ago, but "60 Minutes" (down three-tenths), "Amazing Race" (down two-tenths), and "Good Wife" (down one-tenth) all fell.

NBC came in a distant fourth among the big four broadcast nets, as its lineup mostly held steady to a week ago. "Dateline," "Believe" and "Crisis" all delivered 1.0 averages in the 18-49 demo — all matching last week's numbers. "American Dream Builders" fell one-tenth to an 0.5 average.

For prime time overall, ABC led the 18-49 demo with a 1.7 average, followed by Fox (1.6 average), CBS (1.3) and NBC and Univision (tied at 0.9). CBS won total viewers with 9.0 million, followed by ABC (6.5 million), NBC (3.9 million), Fox (3.6 million) and Univision (2.4 million).
