A hit song by a popular singer will be the basis for an event series that’s in the works at Fox. Deadline.com reports that the broadcast network is developing a six-hour limited event series from Jerry Bruckheimer based on the Carrie Underwood song “Two Black Cadillacs.”

The project, from Jerry Bruckheimer TV and Warner Bros. TV, focuses on a deadly love triangle set in the modern South, the story notes.

The song, from Underwood’s 2012 album “Blown Away,” was a platinum single, and is about a wife and a mistress who conspire to kill the man they are both involved with.
