‘GMA’ Wins the Season — Again

ABC’s “Good Morning America” has won its second consecutive season, with the morning show growing its audience in the key news demographic of viewers 25-54 during 2013-14, reports TVNewser.

The show boosted its demo viewership by 7% over the 2012-2013 season, and boosted growth of total viewers by 4%, the story notes.

The piece adds, “‘CBS This Morning’ showed the most growth among total viewers, up +9% vs. last season, but was the only program down in the A25-54 demo: -3%. The broadcast had its best season in more than two decades, since 1993-1994.”

As for “Today” on NBC, the morning show grew by 6% in total viewers and 4% in the 25-54 demographic, the piece reports. NBC was second for the season in both total viewers and the 25-54 demographic.
