NBC is working with “The Blacklist” producers Sony Pictures and Davis Entertainment on another conspiracy thriller, reports Deadline.com.

The network has given a pilot-production commitment to the project, “Endgame,” which is about a former intelligence officer who is wrongly accused of murdering his wife.

“A syndicate of powerful people offers him freedom in exchange for stopping high-stakes crimes, as he continues to avenge his wife’s death and uncover the game-like conspiracy among his mysterious employers,” the article reports. “He eventually realizes he’s a player in a hundred-year-old tradition where the rich and powerful bet on the ultimate ‘game’: crime in our world.”

“Leverage” co-creator John Rogers will write the script, and will executive produce with John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment.
