CBS has renewed its summer reality franchise “Big Brother” for two more seasons, reports the Los Angeles Times’ Show Tracker.
The show will return in the summers of 2015 and 2016, the story reports. Hosted by Julie Chen, the show has produced solid ratings for CBS during the summer.
The report notes: “Last season the show attracted controversy because of racially insensitive and inflammatory remarks made by some of the participants. Caleb Reynolds, a contestant on this season’s edition, reportedly made homophobic and racially inflammatory comments on social media before he entered the ‘Big Brother’ house.”
