“Doctors are expected to assess the extent of damage to Joan Rivers’ brain Tuesday after bringing her out of a medically induced coma,” reports the New York Daily News.
The article adds: “The 81-year-old legendary comedienne remained on a life-support machine and in serious condition Monday at Mount Sinai Hospital amid an outpouring of support and sympathy.”
The story also notes that E!’s “Fashion Police,” on which Rivers appears, has canceled a scheduled taping.
