Comedy Central’s late-night staple “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” is staffing up. Variety reports that the show added comedians Hasan Minhaj and Trevor Noah to its on-air lineup.
Minhaj joins as a correspondent, starting in November, with Noah to appear as a contributor beginning in December.
“Minhaj is a comedian, actor and writer who has made appearances on Netflix’s ‘Arrested Development’ revival, HBO’s ‘Getting On’ and Comedy Central’s ‘@midnight,'” Variety reports.
Noah, a native of South Africa, has hosted TV shows in that country and had a Showtime comedy special, “Trevor Noah: African American.”
