An Oscar-winning actress has joined the cast of an ABC drama series. TheWrap.com reports that Marcia Gay Harden has joined “How to Get Away With Murder.”

The actress will play a recurring role on the drama, which debuted in September to strong ratings. Harden will appear in the second half of the first season, although details about her character haven’t been revealed, the story adds.

Harden recently appeared on ABC’s “Trophy Wife,” where she played Diane Buckley. She’s also set to star in episodes of HBO’s “The Newsroom.”

Harden won an Oscar for her role in “Pollock,” in which she played Lee Krasner.
