20th Television Ramps Up Second-Screen Engagement

20th Television announced the formation of a new partnership that ramps up viewers’ ability to engage with advertisers’ brands. The company has partnered with the cross-platform mobile firm WiOffer to deliver enhanced second-screen engagement.

“WiO’s mobile app features voice recognition, text and ACR (Audio Content Recognition) technologies, allowing viewers to easily interact with advertiser brands to receive offers and additional information,” the companies announced.

The joint announcement was made by Michael Teicher, Executive Vice President, Media Sales, for 20th Television, and Andrew S. Pakula, CEO, WiOffer, LLC.

In the announcement, Teicher said: “As second screen advertising campaigns continue to gain momentum, we are thrilled to partner with WiO. The immediate engagement tool allows us to offer another opportunity to advertisers this upfront season that goes above and beyond the usual media transaction.”
