Winfrey has scaled way back on her interviews and TV appearances, but might have made an exception for the chance to chat with Jenner.

Following a question that included the statement, “You have interviewed everyone,” Winfrey said: “There are only a few [interviews she didn’t get]. I wanted Bruce Jenner. Diane got it. That’s great, but there are a few.”

As has been widely reported, Jenner seized the moment during the recent interview with Sawyer on “20/20” to confirm speculation that he is undergoing gender transition.
