A mega-hit animated feature will receive distribution across a range of television platforms starting in early 2016.

Disney/ABC Television Group and Walt Disney Animation Studios announced today that “Frozen,” which the companies noted is the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, will premiere across Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, ABC and ABC Family beginning in February 2016.

“In ‘Frozen,’ fearless optimist Anna (Kristen Bell) teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer, Sven, in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (Josh Gad) in a race to find Anna’s sister, Elsa (Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter,” the companies say in the announcement. “Can Anna save her sister and bring sunshine back to their home? Or will Arendelle be frozen forever?”

Released in 2013, the movie has reportedly surpassed $1.3 billion in worldwide box office receipts.
