TV Guide has sent its editor-in-chief packing after less than a year in the position, the New York Post reports. The biweekly publication eliminated the editor-in-chief title and gave Doug Brod the ax, according to the story.
“The magazine will split editing responsibilities between Los Angeles-based Executive Editor Michael Schneider, who will be promoted to chief content officer, and New York-based former Creative Director, Rose Fiorentino, who will serve as chief creative officer,” the Post reports.
Brod held the title of editor-in-chief since June of last year, but began running the magazine and its TVInsider.com website soon after Debra Birnbaum’s exit in February 2014, the report notes.
