ESPN and Eva Longoria Will Keep It Going — Four New Titles Coming Up in ‘Versus’ Series

ESPN Films has announced four new titles that will roll out in the coming weeks as part of the “Versus” series of short films executive produced by Eva Longoria.

The series premiered May 8 with “Go Sebastien Go!,” which was directed by Longoria. One additional project will debut each month from June through September.

The next one on tap is “Queen Vee,” directed by Melissa Johnson, which is set to premiere June 19. The program focuses on female NBA referee Violet Palmer.

“Rebel on Ice,” premiering July 10, tracks figure skater Surya Bonaly, and “Guys Like Us,” due Aug. 7, focuses on quarterback Jim Plunkett.

Due up Sept. 11 is “Romanian Roots, ” telling the story of gymnast Jennifer Bricker.
