One of the celebrity contestants on the ABC series “Dancing with the Stars” has been forced to withdraw from the competition. Kim Zolciak-Biermann is out after suffering a mini-stroke last week.

As we reported previously, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” personality experienced a transient ischemic attack, or TIA, hours after her appearance on “DWTS.” People magazine reports that Zolciak-Biermann was unable to compete on Monday’s installment of the dance competition and had to pull out.

Zolciak-Biermann talked about her health ordeal in a prerecorded segment on Monday’s show, saying: “It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever been through in my whole life.”

“She was well enough to dance, and she rehearsed on Saturday, but her doctors were worried about her flying,” People reports. “She said if she lived close enough to drive, she would have.”

Host Tom Bergeron gave viewers the bad news, explaining that the rules require a contestant to withdraw after missing an appearance for health reasons.

Her dance partner, Tony Dovolani, performed the dance they had worked on, “I Dream of Jeanie, with Jenna Johnson, People notes.
