During Apple’s introduction Wednesday of new and improved products, one of the highlights was the presentation and demonstration of its rebooted Apple TV.

Introducing it, Apple CEO Tim Cook, after acknowledging that Apple had been working on re-doing its Apple TV product for some time, said, “Our vision for TV is simple and perhaps a little provocative. The future of television is apps.”
