HBO made a key addition to its programming team, adding a film producer in a top executive position. Variety reports that the pay-cable network hired Nora Skinner as a senior VP for drama series.
“Skinner, who previously worked for Scott Rudin Prods. and for Tribeca Theatrical Prods., will oversee development of new and current drama series, reporting to Michael Ellenberg, exec VP of HBO Programming,” Variety reports.
Skinner’s credits include working as an executive producer on the films “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” and “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.”
Ellenberg commented: “Nora brings a wealth of experience working with some of the finest talents in the business, in addition to her exceptional skills with story and a great eye for talent and material. We are fortunate to have Nora joining the company and look forward to her contributions in the years to come.”
