One of the judges from “The Voice” is working on setting up a huge gig. In an exclusive, E! News reports that Adam Levine has been in “extensive talks” for a performance by his band, Maroon 5, during the halftime show of the upcoming Super Bowl.

The game, which marks the 50th anniversary of the Super Bowl, is set for Feb. 7 and will be played in Santa Clara, Calif., with CBS set to televise it.

“A source tells E! News the other acts the NFL have discussed at one point have included Coldplay and Bruno Mars, who just performed in 2014 at Super Bowl XLVIII,” E! News reports. “However, the source says Levine’s band is the current front-runner for the gig.”

Levine has been a judge and coach on “The Voice” since its debut in 2011, and along with Blake Shelton is one of only two members of the original judges’ lineup still with the show.

  2. What exactly would a no-talent person like Trump do during half time?
