CBS has a new drama in development that will have the network going back in time. Writing on Deadline.com, Nellie Andreeva reports that the network is moving forward with “Recall,” from CBS TV Studios and Timberman/Beverly Productions.

“Written by former ‘Sleepy Hollow’ showrunner Mark Goffman and writing duo Bret VandenBos & Brandon Willer (‘King & Maxwell’), ‘Recall’ centers on a brilliant inventor,” Andreeva writes. “When he discovers a way to travel back in time 24 hours, he and his team join forces with the CIA, going into the past to prevent crimes and other disastrous events from happening. Goffman, VandenBos and Willer executive produce with [Sarah] Timberman and [Carl] Beverly.”

Goffman, who has an overall deal with CBS TV Studios, is an executive producer on the drama series “Limitless.”

  1. Why not just have him go back in time a week and admit that you are remaking 7 Days? Good show.

  2. Ohhh! I’d forgotten about 7 Days. Fun show!

  3. Sure, if you had time travel, the first thing you would think of is “how can I use this to help the CIA?”

Soon network television will be nothing but shows about police departments or government agencies with magical or science fictional powers and abilities.

    • Yeah… because said departments and agencies don’t enough barely-restricted power and ability as it is.
