A new report seeks to cut through the confusion over the proliferation of streaming services, listing 10 of the most popular services, what they offer, how much they cost and some of the main reasons viewers may want to subscribe.
The analysis by The Hollywood Reporter, published today, includes industry leaders such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime Instant Video, along with more specialized services such as CBS All Access, HBO Now, Showtime and the upcoming Seeso from NBCUniversal.
THR’s “Streaming Smackdown” also examines PlayStation Vue, Sling TV and YouTube’s ad-free service, YouTube Red.
