A new entry in on-demand video was announced today, with Fandango revealing that it will launch FandangoNOW on March 30, Deadline.com reports. FandangoNOW will be a rebranded version of the M-GO digital video distribution platform, which Fandango recently acquired.
The new service will launch across the Web, iOS, Android, and Roku devices, along with smart TVs from Samsung, LG and Vizio, Deadline notes.
“FandangoNOW will offer a library of major studio releases and next-day TV shows for purchase or rental,” Deadline notes. Fandango, which acquired the movie review site Rotten Tomatoes in February, is owned by Comcast.
