A visit to Walt Disney World turned into a magical experience for an autistic 2-year-old and his family. CBS News reports that the youngster, who had showed no interest in any of the other Disney characters, warmed up immediately when he saw Snow White.

Amanda Coley of North Carolina filmed the encounter between the Disney princess and her young son, Jack, who is non-verbal and was reportedly diagnosed with autism weeks after the trip.

“He makes eye contact with us; he does not with strangers,” his mom told CBS News. “He looks down, looks to the side or runs away. To show that eye contact to a stranger was a very big deal.”
