The five most promising new broadcast shows of the fall TV season are identified in a new poll of media buyers by Media Life. The top five includes two CBS shows and two NBC series, but an ABC program tops the list.

The report lists ABC’s “Designated Survivor,” which stars Kiefer Sutherland as a lowly Cabinet member suddenly thrust into the role of president of the U.S., at No. 1. “This show is by far media buyers’ favorite new program,” the story reports.

The rest of the top five finds CBS’s “Bull” at No. 2, followed by NBC’s “Timeless” at No. 3, CBS’s “MacGyver” reboot at No. 4 and NBC’s new drama “This Is Us” at No. 5.
