One of the late-night broadcast talk shows has placed a ban against Donald Trump’s appearing on the show. Entertainment Weekly reports that the move by NBC’s “Late Light with Seth Meyers” is in retaliation for Trump’s revoking of The Washington Post’s press credentials, which we reported earlier this week.
Meyers announced the ban on Tuesday night’s show, saying: “As long as The Washington Post is banned from Donald Trump’s campaign, Donald Trump will be banned from ever coming on this show. You missed out, buddy.”
The move follows Trump’s cancellation of an appearance on Meyers’ show back in April.
Meyers lashed out at the GOP presidential candidate Tuesday night, saying Trump hit a “new low” in his comments following the mass shooting Sunday in Orlando. Trump reiterated his call to ban immigration from Muslim areas in the wake of the shootings.
Meyers reportedly said: “When it comes to bigotry, Trump keeps upping his game. He’s like if Joseph McCarthy was exposed to gamma radiation and became a racist orange Hulk with tiny hands. Hulk mad, hands too small to smash.”
