Social Media Explodes Over Burger King’s Testing of Its Latest Concoction

Following up on the Whopper Dog, Burger King rolled out a new concoction called the “Whopperrito” — and social media went crazy. Consumerist reports that the new product essentially puts the ingredients in a Whopper on a tortilla, which is then rolled up.

The Whopperrito is reportedly being tested at a number of BK locations in Pennsylvania.

The response on Twitter was mixed, but many users appear to be less than enthused. Some examples:

“What the HELL is a whopperito????Y’all getting out of hand @BurgerKing.”

“‘Whopperito’ smh don’t put my burger on a tortilla fam.”

“Brb, now vomiting at the thought of the ‘Whopperito.'”

On the other hand, there’s this:

“Hey. I’d eat the hell out of the Whopperito, I’m sorry.”
