A show that is about to roll out its 20th season will be celebrated with a series of special programming events, online features and on-the-ground promotions. Comedy Central announced the lineup of special events in anticipation of the Sept. 14 season premiere of “South Park.”

The show kicked off the 20th season at Comic-Con with a redesigned “South Park” app and all-new avatar creator, along with a panel featuring creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

The celebration includes a “South Park” summer marathon that’s currently running every Wednesday, and a traveling art exhibit, curated by street pop culture artist Ron English.

Still in the pipeline is the release of “South Park: The Fractured But Whole,” a new video game from Ubisoft. Meanwhile, the “South Park 20 Experience,” featuring 20 iconic 2D/3D moments, will be traveling to various locations throughout the year.

Comedy Central will roll out a multi-tiered multimedia marketing campaign in connection with season 20 over the next several months.
