History Unveils Special Programming to Commemorate 9/11

History is commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack with a week of original prime-time specials.

The new special “15 Septembers Later” will premiere on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5. The production features recently declassified material along with new interviews with President George W. Bush, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and other officials and journalists.

Premiering Sept. 11 are “America’s 9/11 Flag: Rise From the Ashes,” featuring Brad Meltzer, which details the disappearance of the famous Ground Zero flag, and “102 Minutes that Changed America: 15th Anniversary,” an updated version of the Emmy-winning documentary.
