Late-Night Mainstay Lands Golden Globes Hosting Gig

One of the mainstays of late-night TV will be the host of the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, set for Jan. 8. NBC, which is broadcasting the ceremony, announced today that “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon will host the traditional kickoff to the awards season.

The ceremony, put on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and produced by dick clark productions, will take place at the Beverly Hilton.

Nominations for the Golden Globes will be announced Monday, Dec. 12.
