A music superstar explained turning down an invitation to perform at next year’s Super Bowl with a message delivered to fans at one of her concerts, USA Today reports.

Adele, who is currently touring North America, reportedly told concert goers at her show in Los Angeles: “First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really — I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no.”

The singer added: “I’m sorry, but maybe next time.”
