NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” continues to put the 2016 presidential election front and center, with Saturday’s installment again featuring a cold open parodying the recent Donald Trump-Hillary Clinton debate.
One viewer who was not a fan of the bit was Donald Trump. The GOP nominee tweeted early Sunday morning: “Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”

It is unfortunate that Trump can’t keep his mouth shut. He had Hillary exactly where he wanted her, but he allowed her cronies to continue to get under his skin. And the worst thing is that he doesn’t just let his team respond to the attacks like Hillary does. This is the reason she continues to come back when he gets a lead. She disappears and deadpans answers while her team goes out and defends her. Trump goes out on his own and makes a buffoon of himself. You can blame the press or the “rigged system” ; but in the end it is Trump himself that is costing him this election.
