A TV and stage actor who has recently appeared in shows including “The Good Wife” and “Madam Secretary” died during a rehearsal for a play. Deadline.com reports that Owiso Odera died over the weekend after collapsing onstage in Kentucky. He was 43.
Odera, who was born in Khartoum, Sudan, to Kenyan parents, was known for his work in series including “The Originals,” ” Dirt” and “Three Rivers.” He also did recent guest spots on “The Millers,” “Blue Bloods” and “NCIS: Los Angeles.”
Odera, who lived in Santa Monica, Calif., was reportedly rehearsing for a play called “Measure Plus Dido.” No cause of death was given.
