Disney-ABC, Marvel and IMAX formed an innovative partnership to create a new TV series that will roll out first in IMAX theaters. The project, “Marvel’s The Inhumans,” is set to premiere exclusively in IMAX theaters worldwide in early September 2017.

The show focuses on a race of superhumans with diverse powers who were introduced in Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965.

Versions of the first two episodes will run in IMAX theaters during a two-week window before the series launches its network run.
