Two Candidates Emerge to Replace Outgoing TV Academy Chair Bruce Rosenblum

The Television Academy will be selecting a new leader this month, with outgoing Chair Bruce Rosenblum having “termed out” after serving five years, Deadline.com reports. The Board of Governors will choose a new chairman and CEO on Nov. 17.

“Paperwork for those running had to be turned in by last Friday, and Deadline has learned that at least two candidates have emerged in the race: current Vice Chair Kevin Hamburger, and Producers Branch co-Governor Hayma ‘Screech’ Washington,” Deadline reports.

It’s still possible that others have applied for the position, although the report cites sources saying no outsider appears to be in the running. The entire field should be known by later this week.
