Well-Known Actress Resurfaces for Troubling Interview — Why She Thinks Robin Williams Is Still Alive

An actress who slipped off the radar after being one of the most familiar faces in Hollywood in the 1970s and 1980s is seeking help for what’s being described as mental illness.

Shelley Duvall, whose iconic role in “The Shining” in 1980 was part of a string of well-received performances that also included “Popeye,” “Brewster McCloud” and “Annie Hall,” has been out of the public eye since 2002. But she has booked an appearance on “Dr. Phil” for this Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, and advance glimpses of the interview portray a disturbing picture of the former movie star.

One revelation teased in the clip, which has since been pulled from circulation, is that Duvall believes her “Popeye” co-star, Robin Williams, is still alive. Duvall, 67, says she believes Williams is now a shape shifter, and she claims she has seen him. Williams committed suicide in 2014.

Duvall also suggests that she’s being threatened by the Sheriff of Nottingham.

  1. Um, he’s going to help her how? A rubber room for this one.

  2. Maybe Dr. Phil could have helped her off screen show or no show rather than parade her on stage. What we do not need on television is another Maury or Jerry Springer show.

  3. Who at the Dr Phil show thought this was a good idea?

  4. Yeah Sr Phil is exploiting her for ratings…

  5. As she is living in the past, She thought that she was going to be on Phil Donahue.
